Here at Haute Time, we’re huge fans of DISCO – the latest venture from Charlie Gilkes and Duncan Stirling (aka the dynamic duo behind Bunga Bunga, Maggie’s and Mr Fogg’s) that specialises in disco vibes inspired by mid 1970s Manhattan.
We also love Mark Fuller’s £10 million Sanctum Soho hotel with its diamante door handles, plush private 45 seat cinema and 24-hour rooftop bar where we’re want to sip champagne while submerged in a hydro spa that comes complete with multi-coloured underwater lights.
So it’s fair to say that we’re more than a little excited about a forthcoming collaboration between the two Soho hotspots…
That’s right… on Saturday 9 August, DISCO, will be partnering with late night pop-up bar and club concept, Roxx, to host a one-off special summer collaboration, on the rooftop of The Sanctum Hotel… DISCO vs ROXX.
With DISCO, famed, (both the era and the club itself) for being the ultimate hedonistic escape, and Roxx renowned for recreating the revelry and debauchery usually only found behind closed doors backstage, this day party is sure to see a clash of the titans, as both brands throw their greatest hits into the mix.
Keen to break out of the basement and make the most of this sunny weather, (and the scenic views across London), DISCO will be moving their magic onto the rooftop from 3pm, and staying their till well past sunset, at 10pm. Guests to the event can expect non-stop entertainment to accompany a rotation of multiple DJs, playing a variety of Old Skool disco, alongside rock & roll through the years, followed up by House music and remixes incorporating both.
For those that wish to boogie all the way till bedtime, and continue rocking out till dawn, DISCO will also be hosting a special after party (entry is included in the price of your original ticket) giving you no excuse not to Keep Calm and Carry On Dancing.
See you there?
